Yarrabilba will deliver all of the commercial opportunities you would expect in a new community of more than 45,000 residents, with the project expected to generate up to 20,000 jobs.
Over 160 hectares of land has been allocated to employment generating uses including light industry, business parks, commercial office space and retail. A further 75 hectares has been identified for a range of government and private educational facilities. In addition to the thousands of permanent jobs, Yarrabilba is expected to create approximately 1,000 construction jobs and over 100 traineeships during each year of development.
The current master plan for Yarrabilba envisages a range of employment hubs within the project including a Mixed Industry and Business Precinct fronting Waterford Tambourine Road, a major mixed use Town Centre and a number of village and neighbourhood centres.
Being a new community, Yarrabilba has the flexibility of design and the space to cater to the specific needs of businesses across a range of service and clean industry sectors. It offers businesses an exciting opportunity to “get in at the ground level” and be involved in the planning of new facilities and infrastructure.
